1. Title: Eudora Light Version 1.5.4

I think that Eudora is definitely worth this money for children to be able communicate in a different way than usual; especially because nearly all of them will be using this type of communication throughout their lives.. This piece of software is very easy to use, in that it is easily accessible, and works quickly; it doesn't take long to load up and check or send mail. This software is easy to use because the features are not complicated and they are easy to follow. Eudora Light is very simple to install; as it didn't take long, and it ran straight away.

3. Eudora Light has an in-built help system accompanying it that gives information about the program, although this would not neccesarily need to be used, as it is a very simple program to operate.

4. Operational Instructions

First Option - It is possible to either have your e-mail set up on disk or check it of the hard drive. I have included instructions for both

Turn on the computer

Put your disk in

Double click on your disk

Double click on Eudora Folder

Choose File and then Check Mail and then click Okay

Second Option

Turn on the computer

Go to the hard drive (eg. Macintosh)

Double click on Applications

Double click on Communications

Double click on Eudora Folder (to copy)

Double click on Eudora Settings

Select special from the icons and select settings fron there

type in your email from there

Click Okay and from there choose File and Check Mail

Type in your password and click Okay

5. The child that I watched use Eudora actually picked up the program even quicker than I had anticipated. They grasped the concepts of sending somebody a letter a lot better than I thought, although this particular student had observed another person send an e-mail and this student was very computer literate. The only thing that I had to assist with was setting up the e-mail so that it could abe obtained from the disk for future purposes.
